We first met Kim and Phil a year before their wedding date. They were both very clear on the vision they had for their day. A relaxed boho vive with a real luxe feel to it. Oh and flowers, everywhere.
The venue was Willow Grange farm, just outside of Cambridge, and as it's one we know so well, we knew exactly what to suggest to get the biggest impact from their budget. As it was mid Summer, we incorporated lot's of dahlia and David Austen roses, floating ammi that looked like lace and dried elements for that edgy boho look.
Just like Kim's dress, the flowers were all about the texture and movement. The sperry tent was decorated with three huge ceiling rings that made it feel as though the guests were dining under a canopy of florals. The Ceremony had a macrame arch, decorated with flowers and the aisle was lined with floor meadows which were later repositioned around the bar in the sperry tent.
There were so many flowers and a lot of mechanics to instal so this wedding saw us working all day and through most of the night, which did mean we got to witness the most incredible sunrise and sunset on the farm. Those endless blue skies, the laughter of the family sat around a fire pit late into the night felt like magic.
It made this day what it was. A real pleasure to be a part of.
